It's been a long time Dr. Jones!

Monday - 08/11/10 - Colin Smith

Yes its been a long time since the last update but finally we are getting round to reporting some of the progress of the last few years, just to let you all now things are still very much on going.

We have been fortunate enough to welcome several new companies and individuals into the fray who are all very kindly lending us their services to help us complete the project.

Outpost Sound LTD (www.outpostsound.co.uk) is now involved in mixing the sound for Templars, no easy task and certainly something that Jonathan Lawrence is very appreciative of. Richard Crook of Crooked Path Films (www.crookedpathfilms.com) is working on colour grading the movie. Some really impressive Special FX shots have been undertaken by Liquid Logixx (www.liquidlogixx.com) - this has been essential in constructing an exterior shot of Rosslyn Chapel for the movie when at the time of filming a steel support frame made this impossible. Additional FX shots are also being provided by Continuum 3D (http://lfgrafix.com/).

As for a status report on the final movie itself, it reads as follows:

- Photography 100% complete (including pick ups)
- Edit locked for Acts 1 and 2 (Act 3 almost locked)
- Digital FX ongoing
- Music 2/3s recorded and currently being mixed
- Overall movie 85 - 90% complete

Do please feel free to send us an email and let us know your thoughts and questions or to get involved yourself if you feel you could in some capacity. We all want to say a great thank you to you all for sticking with us over such a long time and look forward to being able to give you a finished movie in the not too distant future!
